We are looking for an energetic Café Supervisor to join our Havelock North village catering team. Ideally you will have experience in café operations, customer service, food control plans and ideally have a Barista qualification.
You will be responsible for the daily operation of the on-site café: provide quality food and drinks and be part of a team providing exciting events for our residents.
Shifts are 9:00am-3:30pm but roster can be tailored to cover seven days with Café assistant
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and initiative to set and achieve goals
- Ability to demonstrate experience at food preparation and hygiene standards
- Experience in operating a café is desirable (but not essential)
- Barista Qualification
- Current Food Handlers certificate
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel/Microsoft Office)
- Understanding food safety and have a high level of personal hygiene
