Steve and his family moved from Scotland so he could project manage Summerset’s Papamoa Beach development, and he hasn’t looked back.

His role involves delivering a high-quality product while managing all staff on site, incorporating strong health, safety and wellbeing practices across the project. It’s something the carpenter with a BSc(hons) in Construction Management and Design is no stranger to having worked on global projects from the Dubai Mall to the Macallan whisky distillery in Scotland.

The variety in my job is great. I get to speak with all sorts of stakeholders on a daily basis, from sales to operational staff, he said.
