Rees Young Is The Property Manager At Summerset's Ellerslie Village. Prior To Working At Summerset, Rees Spent A Few Years Running His Own Property Maintenance Business And A Signage Business That Manufactured And Installed Signs. Rees Started At Summerset On A Temporary Contract. "It Seemed Like A Really Good Company - Good Team, Good Structure - So When A Permanent Role Came Up, I Grabbed It," Said Rees.

Over His Time With Summerset, Rees Has Worked At Three Of Our Auckland Villages As A Property Manager. He Said, "I Chose To Stay At Ellerslie Because It Is A Different Experience Working In A Developing Village Compared To An Established Village. In A Developing Village You Have To Work Hand In Hand With Construction And Everyone Is Working Towards One Project." 

Rees Says Property Managers Need To Be Ready To Solve Problems Quickly. "You've Got To Be Able To Jump Left, Right And Centre At Any Time, But It's Easy If You Have A Good Team. He Attributes This Skill To His Success In The Role. "I Think The Accomplishment For Me Is How You Handle The Problem And How You Get It Solved - For Me That Is An Achievement," He Says.
