Summerset Milldale is preparing to open its brand-new care centre – a premium facility nestled in a picturesque, established village poised to become the heart of aged care in the region. Job Description:
As a Part Time Weekend Caregiver in our Memory Care Centre for Milldale Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
- Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
- Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
- Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc
You’ll need to be available for three weeks of paid, onsite training from 22 February to 12 March 2027, running Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, ahead of the Care Centre’s official opening.
This is a part-time position working 7:00am – 3:00pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications:
You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.
You’ll bring with you:
- A Health & Wellbeing Certificate level 3 or 4
- 4+ years' experience in aged care
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
